Personal Profile

Throughout my working life I have been involved in enabling people to grow and change, empowering them with newer opportunities to evolve themselves in their mind and body to align to their inner calling. Prior to training as a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist, my background was in the IT Services Industry and recruitment.

I am a professionally qualified counsellor, psychotherapist (Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT)- Albert Ellis, USA ®, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) Beck Institute USA ®, Transactional Analysis – Feeling Minds ® and Lifestyle Prescriptions Health Coach, Germany ®, established in private practice for more than 8 years. I also incorporate alternate techniques for supporting my client via Access Bars ® (www.accessconsciousness.com)

I am a member of the Counsellors Association of India, National Positive Psychology Association (NPPA), Bhartiya Counselling Psychology Association (BCPA) and Counsellors Association of India (CAI). I am associated with Feeling Minds and under Dr Chinu Agarwal have established myself as an expert in the area Parenting and Transactional Analysis Practitioner.

My knowledge and skills have developed through my psychotherapeutic work in private practice, as a health coach and counsellor for adolescents and young adults, Life Coach for working professionals, parenting guide and expert and Lifestyle Prescriptions Health Coach. I believe that there is always something new to learn working in this field and make a regular commitment to on-going professional development of others and self.

I am blessed to be working with young children from 10 years onwards on their academic, personality and social adjustments along with their parents. I also have experience working with young adults from the age of 18 years to handle Anxiety and Depression. To add I work with resolving issues around family and couples and support them to cope and adjust around various psychological issues. I provide support to work with the emotional issues and help people to choose a healthier view of life in mind and for their body. Along with this I practise Access Bars and Mindfulness with my clients. I am training myself to be a Biographical Counsellor – Under Rudolf Steiner Anthroposophy and based on Esoteric Sciences.

My counselling sessions and therapy will typically be 6 – 12 sessions while some deeper issues may take longer time to resolve. I conduct my sessions in person at the clinic and Online as well.

With my corporate experience of working with IBM India Pvt ltd for 13 years plus I am able to relate to professional and personal issues of individuals and their families.

I am bound by and adhere to its Ethical Framework for Good Practice under all of my associations. I also keep myself updated within the field of Psychology so as to be able to mentor people on their well-being.
