Profile Description |
As a psychologist dedicated to preventive mental health, my career spanning over 7 years has been marked by substantial contributions in clinical psychology. This is evidenced by my extensive practice involving 2800+ therapy hours and a Ph.D. in the field, alongside over 30+ national and international research contributions. At the heart of my professional ethos is a commitment to addressing mental health issues before they intensify. In my role as Co-Founder & Chief Psychologist at heyy, having led a team of psychologists in pioneering a chat-based psychological first aid model, this innovative approach, assisting over 2 million users, was developed using Narrative and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) styles, proving highly effective in a digital context. The model’s efficacy was validated through a collaboration with Christ University, Bangalore, focusing on areas crucial to mental well-being. As an expert I’m passionate about working around parent-child relationships, career decision-making, and common challenges like relationship issues, stress, depression, and anxiety. My expertise is utilizing a combination of Narrative & SFBT; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Behavioral Therapy (BT), approaches as fit to the case, to provide comprehensive support.I am always keen to explore new opportunities that allow me to further extend my impact in the mental health field. My ambition is to contribute to leading therapy platforms and play a significant role in reshaping the global mental health landscape. I strive to integrate mental well-being into both personal and professional environments, creating spaces where it forms an essential part of everyday life.
